Managing roles and permissions

Control what each team member can see and do with Teiro's role-based access system.

Teiro uses role-based access control so you can ensure the right people have access to the right information — and nothing more.

Built-in roles

Admin — full access. Can modify all settings, view all records, and manage billing.

Scheduler — manages jobs, rosters, and carer assignments. Cannot access billing or organisation settings.

Approver — can approve or reject carer requests. Read-only access to scheduling.

Carer — mobile app only. Sees their own jobs and submits notes, incidents, and requests.

Customising permissions

Admins can grant additional permissions to individual users without changing their base role. For example, a Scheduler can be granted access to compliance reports.

Removing access

Deactivate a user account to immediately revoke all access. Their historical activity is preserved in the audit trail.
