Document expiry alerts
Set expiry dates on uploaded documents and get automatic alerts before they lapse.
Any document in Teiro — for carers, customers, or the organisation — can have an expiry date. Teiro monitors these automatically and alerts the right people before documents lapse.
Setting an expiry date
When uploading a document, enter its expiry date in the designated field. If you're uploading a carer's police check, enter the date on the certificate.
Who receives alerts
Teiro sends expiry alerts to:
- The Admin and Compliance leads (all documents)
- The carer themselves (their own certifications)
- The customer's coordinator (customer-level documents like care agreements)
Alert schedule
Alerts are sent 60 days, 30 days, and 7 days before expiry, and again on the expiry date.
Renewing a document
Upload a new version of the document with the updated expiry date. The old version is archived for audit purposes — Teiro never deletes historical records.
